An Advanced Introduction to Creative Writing
In his comprehensive course, An Advanced Introduction to Creative Writing, John leads his students through the basic nuts and bolts of strong prose peppered with creative techniques for the generation of original, vibrant ideas and characters. His how-to methodology will also cover the avoidance of writer’s block. This stimulating four hour course will look at the judicious selection and use of words, techniques for putting words together, methods of character development and how to make your fiction flow and glow. If time permits, he will also discuss techniques for dealing with agents and publishers and the proper methods of submitting materials to publications. John will be available on a limited basis after the course by phone and e-mail for follow up questions specific to each student.
