Get Started SongWriting
This class is for people who are ready to tap into their musical creativity in a big way! With Kerry Adams as your guide, you will learn the basics of constructing a memorable song, setting it to music and getting that song recorded and played by websites and musical outlets across the world. Kathleen Gibbs will chime in with advice about self-marketing your music locally, regionally and world-wide.
If you are ready to learn or refine your songwriting skills, this class is for you. The first two sessions will focus on an overview of songwriting tools and conclude by asking the class members to construct a short lyric or piece of music for evaluation by the class and instructors. The second two classes will highlight the creativity of the class members and wrap up with an ad lib “concert” of class members music!
