Implementing a Strategic Plan & Performance Management Program

Are you the leader of an organization faced with mounting challenges? Have you been charged with directing a new department or section?
You may need to arm yourself with the latest techniques to initiate and sustain an organization or department strategic plan.
If you answered yes to either of the above questions, you should learn how to prepare a Strategic Plan and how to sustain the plans initiatives with a working Performance Management Program.

A well developed Strategic Plan coupled with a working Performance Management Program provides three major benefits whose importance should not be minimized:

• The use of both tools address strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
• Their combined impact facilitates the monitoring and adjustment of key initiatives
• The existence of both tools are evidence of a commitment to excellence

What you will learn: Attendees will learn the typical stages of strategic plan development as well as how to integrate performance management and current concepts such as the balanced scorecard. The course will discuss the pros and cons of alternate implementation methods, students will determine which option fits their specific circumstances. A challenging format will help guide you from start through to completion.

Outcome: Attendees will be armed with knowledge of the complete implementation process and be poised to project a vision for their own organization or department.
Class graduates will be able to provide the necessary leadership and guidance required to initiate a strategic plan and to sustain the initial momentum that exists in the early stages.
