Intoduction to Film Production II
Are you an aspiring film director? Do you ever wonder how the pros do it? Then forget about home movies and register for Intro to Film Production I & II. Through lively discussion and step by step instruction, this course will lead you through the various phases of pre-production, production and post-production.
Part II of the course will focus on post production, evaluation and product distribution. Here, students will be given step by step instruction in film editing using examples from today’s leading, professional software. They will learn techniques in film capturing, logging, rough cuts, audio mixing, special effects and final edits. Students will then edit and upload their short films so that they will have the chance to discuss and evaluate their work with other students and think about possible distribution, and their next major production.
